Our summer barbecue was held in the garden of St Mark’s Community Centre, on July 4th. All those who attended must agree this social event was a great success. We were fortunate to have perfect weather and a good turn out of regular residents as well as a few newcomers and visitors. Thanks to all of you who donated raffle prizes, we made £44.00! And thanks to everyone for your help and support in making it a great success.

For practical reasons we decided to abandon the idea holding our own brunch the same day as the Widcombe Parade Street Party on June 7th. So now the focus is now on the next community social event.

All welcome! Just bring your own food and drink and use the barbecue facilities as you need.
In addition to the barbecue at the Centre, a few extra barbecues will be needed on the day, so if you have one to lend please let us know.
We are hoping to hold a raffle and we possibly arrange live music, if not a sound system and recorded music will be available. More details to come.
