Beehive Visits

beehivesWe are lucky to have some new neighbours who have recently moved to Bath from West London – a couple of colonies of honey bees belonging to Andy and Amelia Hepburn of 31 Calton Walk. Andy has kindly offered to host small groups to accompany him on his weekend maintenance Bee Visits. The hives are a few minutes’ walk away.

The Bee Visits will normally take place on Saturdays or Sundays when Andy carries out his routine inspection and maintenance of the hives. The dates available this month are: July 18th and 25th.

Andy has had to limit the number of visitors to FOUR at a time. If you wish to join us on a visit please CLICK HERE to visit the booking site and reserve your place.

To find out more about what the visits entail and conditions, and before trying to book yourself onto one of the dates, please read the attached notes.

  1. I am delighted to see the beehives in Widcombe West! it fits perfectly with all the campaigning, bulb and plant planting etc since we did Fish. And Chips for the Bees!
I am only sad that I am busy for the two dates given, so sad I wont get a chance to see the hives until later in the year.
